Professional installation instructions for TKMAUTO stainless steel sport bar roll bars. No-drill clamp-on design - secures to truck bed rails using edge-mount clamps with M8 bolts. Features 2-3 inch width adjustment and includes T-slot mounting blocks for accessories.

Installation Steps

Prepare Truck Bed
Remove all cargo from truck bed. Clean the top edge of bed rails thoroughly where clamps will attach.
No drilling required: This sport bar uses edge-mount clamps that grip the bed rail edges - no holes needed in your truck.
Tonneau Cover Compatibility: Works with tri-fold and top-mount tonneau covers. Not compatible with inside-bed mounted covers.

Unpack and Inspect
Verify all components: sport bar assembly, 4 edge-mount clamps with M8 bolts, T-slot mounting blocks, protective foam pads, and hardware.
Inspect stainless steel finish for shipping damage.

Attach Edge-Mount Clamps
Attach protective foam pads to clamps to prevent scratches.
Position clamps on bed rail edges: Place one clamp at each corner (front driver, front passenger, rear driver, rear passenger). Clamps grip the top edge of the bed rail.
Hand-tighten M8 bolts to hold clamps in place. Do not fully tighten yet.
Tip: The clamp design allows 2-3 inches of width adjustment to fit different truck bed rail widths perfectly.

Position Sport Bar
With your helper, carefully lift the sport bar and position it onto the edge-mount clamps.
Adjust width: Use the 2-3 inch adjustment range to center the bar perfectly. Measure from cab to bar on both sides to ensure equal distance.
Check clearance: Verify 2-3 inches clearance between sport bar and cab rear window.

Secure and Align
Attach sport bar to clamps using provided hardware.
Final alignment: Ensure bar is level and parallel to cab. Equal spacing on driver and passenger sides.
Hand-tighten all connection bolts.

Final Tightening
Tighten all M8 bolts on edge-mount clamps in cross pattern: front driver, front passenger, rear driver, rear passenger.
Torque specification: 25-30 ft-lbs for M8 clamp bolts, 20-25 ft-lbs for bar attachment bolts.
Clamp security: The edge-mount clamps provide extremely reliable hold without drilling into your truck.
Important: Do not over-tighten. Excessive torque can damage clamps or bed rails.

Final Check
Shake the sport bar gently - all connections should be solid with no movement.
Verify: Adequate clearance to cab, tonneau cover operates properly (if equipped), no rattles.
T-Slot Accessory System
T-Slot Mounting Blocks Included
Every sport bar includes T-slot mounting blocks for easy accessory installation. Slide blocks into T-slot channels and tighten to secure.
LED Light Bars
Mount LED light bars using T-slot blocks. Compatible with most light bar mounting brackets.
Cargo Baskets & Recovery Gear
T-slot system accommodates cargo baskets, recovery boards, and tie-down points. Unlimited configuration options.
Post-Installation Checklist
- All M8 clamp bolts torqued to specification
- Sport bar centered and level
- 2-3 inch clearance to cab rear window
- Edge-mount clamps secure on bed rails
- Protective foam pads in place
- No rattles or movement
- Tonneau cover operates properly (if equipped)
