TKMAUTO Limited Warranty

This warranty applies to products purchased new from tkmauto.com by the original purchaser and installed on the vehicle they were sold for. It is in addition to your rights under applicable law.

Aluminum truck caps

  • Structure and panels — 3 years from delivery. Covers manufacturing defects in the aluminum shell, frame, welds, doors, and roof rails.
  • Powder-coat finish — 3 years from delivery. Covers peeling, blistering, or flaking of the finish under normal use. Chips and scratches from road debris, tools, or cargo are not covered.
  • Wear components — 1 year from delivery. Glass, gas struts, locks and keys, gaskets and seals, and the third brake light.

Roof racks

  • Limited lifetime warranty on the rack structure (side rails, crossbars, mounting brackets) against manufacturing defects, for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle it was installed on.
  • Powder-coat finish and hardware — 1 year from delivery.

Bed racks, sport bars, bumpers, running boards, and accessories

  • Limited lifetime warranty on steel and aluminum structure against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser.
  • Finish and hardware — 1 year from delivery.

What is not covered

  • Damage from improper installation, overloading beyond the published load ratings, accidents, off-road impact, modification, or use on a vehicle other than the one the product was sold for.
  • Normal wear, fading from sun exposure, and surface corrosion at scratches or drilled holes that were not sealed.
  • Labor, removal and reinstallation, vehicle damage, or consequential costs.
  • Products purchased used or from unauthorized sellers.

How a claim works

  1. Email support@tkmauto.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos.
  2. Our California team responds within 2 business days. Most claims are resolved by shipping the replacement part at no charge.
  3. If a part must be returned for inspection, we provide the shipping label.

Load ratings, fitment, and installation instructions are published on each product page and in the installation guide included with the product. Following them keeps your warranty in force.
