Do I need to drill into my cap?
No. The shelf system bolts directly onto the existing pre-drilled interior mounting rails — no new holes required.
Can I use shelves on both sides at the same time?
Yes. The system supports single or double-sided configuration depending on your storage needs.
What if I need shelves for both sides?
Simply add each side to your cart separately. Select "Left Side (Driver Side)", add to cart, then return to this page, select "Right Side (Passenger Side)", and add to cart again. Both items will ship together.
Will my gear slide around on rough roads?
No. Rubber-lined shelf edges and locking brackets keep everything secure — even on unpaved roads.
Can I add more shelves or accessories later?
Yes. The modular design lets you add dividers, hooks, or additional shelf panels without replacing the base system.

How long does installation take?
Most customers complete the install in 75–90 minutes with two people. No drilling is required — the cap secures to your existing bed rail holes with our stainless clamp kit. A printed install guide with torque specs is in the box.
Does it come with side windows, or is it solid?
We build both versions on the same 6061-T6 aluminum shell — same load rating, same bolt-on install. The difference is only the side panels:
Windows — tempered sliding glass on the driver and passenger sides. Better for overlanding, camping, pets, or any time you want airflow and outward visibility.
Solid — fully enclosed aluminum panels. Better for job-site tool security or gear you want out of sight and keyed-locked.
Will it fit my truck?
This cap is cut for the specific year, make, model, and bed length listed in the fitment box at the top of the page. If your truck matches that spec, the cap is engineered to bolt right on. Short-bed and long-bed versions are not interchangeable.
Will the aluminum rust or the powder coat fade?
The shell is 6061-T6 aluminum — corrosion resistance is inherent to the material, so the structure won't rust. The exterior is finished in powder-coated black for UV protection. Even if the powder-coat gets scuffed at a job site, the aluminum underneath stays sound. The shell is backed by our lifetime structural warranty.
How does shipping and warranty work?
Free freight shipping in the continental US, from our California warehouse via LTL carrier. Delivery requires a signature; the carrier will schedule a window once it reaches your local terminal.
The aluminum shell carries a lifetime structural warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Glass, gaskets, locks, and gas struts carry a 1-year warranty. Fitment support is direct from our California team.
